The short version

DriveReady Coach does not collect, store, transmit, or sell any personal data — about you, or about the learner driver you’re supervising. There is no account, no sign-up, and no server that your drive data is ever sent to. Everything the app creates — drive sessions, skill observations, checklists, and exported PDFs — is stored using your device’s local storage and stays on that device. Optional GPS data works the same way: if you turn it on, it never leaves your phone.

This website (drivereadycoach.com) does not use cookies, analytics, or tracking scripts of any kind.

Data we collect

None. DriveReady Coach — the app and this website — does not collect any personal information. We don’t ask for your name, email address, phone number, or any other identifying information to use the app. There is no account system, so there is nothing to create, verify, or store on our end.

How the app stores information

DriveReady Coach uses your device’s local storage to save:

• Drive session records — date, conditions, duration
• Pre-drive checklist confirmations
• Skill observations (Good / Needs Work notes)
• Progress totals — hours driven, night hours, highway drives
• App preferences — language, settings

This information is written to your device and read back by the app on your device. It is never uploaded, synced, or transmitted to us or to any third party. If you delete the app, this data is deleted with it.

GPS & location data

GPS speed and distance tracking is optional and turned off by default. If you choose to enable it during a drive, your device’s location is used only to calculate speed and distance for that session, and the result is stored using the same on-device local storage described above. Location data is never transmitted anywhere.

PDF drive log exports

When you export a drive log as a PDF, it is generated entirely on your device. You choose where it goes — saved locally, shared by email, printed, or handed to an instructor directly. We never see, receive, or store a copy of any exported PDF.

Purchases

DriveReady Coach is sold as a one-time, per-platform purchase through the Apple App Store or Google Play. All payment processing is handled entirely by Apple or Google under their own privacy policies. We never see your payment details, card number, or billing address.

Cookies & tracking on this website

drivereadycoach.com does not use cookies, does not run analytics or tracking scripts (no Google Analytics, no Facebook Pixel, no advertising trackers of any kind), and does not build any profile of visitors.

Children’s privacy

DriveReady Coach is designed to be used by a supervising adult. Because the app collects no personal data from anyone, there is no personal information gathered from or about a minor at any point.

Third-party services

The only third parties involved in DriveReady Coach are the app stores that distribute and bill for the app (Apple App Store, Google Play), governed by their own respective privacy policies. DriveReady Coach does not integrate any advertising network, analytics provider, or data broker of any kind.

International use

DriveReady Coach is designed for use anywhere in the world. Because no personal data is collected or transmitted, there is no cross-border data transfer to account for — your information never leaves your own device regardless of where you are.

Changes to this policy

If this policy ever changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new “last updated” date. Because we don’t collect any contact information, we have no way to notify you individually.
